Alcohol
You should not drink excessive amounts of alcohol while taking Viagra, as it can temporarily keep you from getting an erection.
  
Other medications
If you’re taking any other medication you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Some medications can interact when used together, causing unwanted effects or making your medication less effective. You should especially speak to your doctor before taking this product if you’re taking:

Medicines called nitrates, which are often used for the relief of angina or chest pain, e.g. glyceryl trinitrate (GTN), isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate
Any medicines known as nitric oxide donors, e.g. amyl nitrate (also known as poppers)
Riociguat, which is used for pulmonary hypertension
Protease inhibitors, such as those used to treat HIV
Alpha-blocker therapies, which are used to treat high blood pressure or prostate enlargement
Any other oral or local treatments for erectile dysfunction
Treatments for pulmonary arterial hypertension which contain sildenafil or other PDE5 inhibitors
