What is the difference between Viagra and Viagra Connect?
Both Viagra Connect and standard Viagra work in the same way, because they contain the same active ingredient: sildenafil. They both should be taken an hour before sexual activity, and on average remain in your system for around 4 hours. 
The main difference is access and dosage. Standard Viagra comes in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg doses, and is only available via prescription. 
Viagra Connect, on the other hand, is only available as a 50mg dose, and can be bought online and over the counter without a prescription. 
 
How to take Viagra Connect 
You take Viagra Connect just how you’d take standard Viagra or sildenafil:  

1. Take one tablet, one hour before you want to have sex. 
2. Swallow the tablet whole, with water. 
3. Only take one Viagra Connect tablet a day.

And make sure not to take Viagra Connect with grapefruit juice – it can interact with the medication and cause more severe side effects.  
 
Viagra Connect side effects 
Common Viagra Connect side effects include nausea, indigestion, hot flushes and headaches.  
It can also cause dizziness, so don’t drive or operate machinery until you know how your body reacts to the medication.
