Napralief 250mg – 9 Tablets

What is Napralief? 

Napralief tablets contain naproxen, which belongs to a group of medicines called NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). These work by helping your body manage pain, swelling, and fever. They’re suitable for the short-term relief of muscle or joint pain (including sprains, strains, and sports injuries), back or neck pain, pain in your wrists or feet, and period pain. 

How to use Napralief 

Take the tablets with or after food and swallow them whole with water. Don’t break, crush, or chew them. They have a special coating that protects your stomach by letting them dissolve in your intestine instead.  

For muscle, joint or period pain, take 500mg (two tablets) initially, then 250mg (one tablet) every six to eight hours as needed. 

When to avoid Napralief 

Do not take these tablets if you’re allergic to naproxen, naproxen sodium, or any of the other listed ingredients. 

Do not take these tablets if you’ve ever had: stomach or gut problems, like ulcers or bleeding; a reaction to ibuprofen, aspirin or similar medicines (such as worsening asthma, rash, runny nose or facial swelling); stomach bleeding when taking NSAIDs before; severe liver or kidney problems; heart problems, high blood pressure or blood clotting issues; or breathing difficulties. 

Do not take Napralief if you’re in the last three months of pregnancy; you should not take these tablets in the first six months of pregnancy unless advised by your doctor.  

Tell your prescriber if you’re taking/using any other medicines. 

These tablets are unsuitable for those under the age of 18. 

They’re not recommended for those over the age of 50.
